What happens in the bathroom and the towel scene
Episode one: Sophie walks into a bathroom and finds Margo standing there in her panties and nothing else. Margo doesn’t reach for anything. She chats, lets Sophie look, and then turns around and asks for help with the zipper, which is the whole series in thirty seconds. Akerman told Yahoo she “loved and feared” that first meeting: “you go, oh right, but I have to perform it.”
Episode three: the towel. Margo, wrapped in a towel and not much else, unwraps it in front of Sophie and kisses her, and Sophie walks out of the room before it can go any further, leaving the camera, and the rest of us, with Margo. Neither scene has a bed in it, and neither needs one; this is the slow build that pays off in the episode four lesbian scene.
