Born on October 20, 1988, in Mooi River, South Africa, Swanepoel was scouted as a teenager at a Durban flea market and went on to walk for Victoria’s Secret for years as one of the brand’s Angels. She later launched her own swimwear label, Tropic of C.
This spring she did the rounds in Los Angeles and Miami, for the Clarins Night of EXTRA party in March 2026 and the Messika Moderniste launch in April, and in September she turned up at an ALO New York Fashion Week celebration in a white halter gown.
