I Want Your Sex. At the July 28 premiere she told E! News that she had turned forty the spring before the shoot: “I felt great and I was like, ‘Hell, yeah.’ ‘Let’s go make this movie. This’ll be fun.'” And: “I love the idea of reclaiming empowered sexuality, and the idea of like you get older and you get better.” At Sundance she told Variety that “the way that sex has been portrayed in film for a long time hasn’t been particularly realistic.”
The set. Cooper Hoffman, her co-star, told EW, as quoted by Yahoo, that she and Gregg Araki were “much more comfortable with the scenes that we were doing than I was because I would immediately put a robe on and sit by myself on the corner of a couch, and they’d be like, ‘Let’s go again.'” Araki told IndieWire the shoot used an intimacy coordinator, and that “Olivia had done a lot of sex scenes, a lot of nudity before. She was very comfortable in her body.”
Vinyl. On Late Night with Seth Meyers, reported by SELF: “I was naked on the show last week, but I got to wear a merkin. The merkin is a pubic wig, and it’s great.” It “makes you feel a little less naked,” and “I was so vocal about it being fake because I was horrified that background actors might think this is my real body hair.” To Entertainment Tonight she said of the episode six scene, “I hadn’t necessarily seen it coming for her,” and of the merkin, “It was definitely cracking me up to no end.”
Third Person. “This scene was a really silly, funny [one] … the stress sort of evaporated. It had nothing to do with being sexy,” she told Page Six. Paul Haggis told Reel Life with Jane that he closed the set and warned her on day one, “Olivia, you run buck naked in this movie,” and that she answered, “Look I can do that for you.”
The Change-Up. On Jimmy Kimmel Live, reported by Fox News: “In that scene Ryan Reynolds is supposed to be covering them and he moved and so the pasties were in the movie and so they had to paint in nipples using CGI. And I got to approve the nipples!” Which is exactly why that one isn’t ranked here.
Why Now: I Want Your Sex
Gregg Araki’s I Want Your Sex premiered at Sundance in January, opened in US theaters on July 31 through Magnolia Pictures and landed on digital on September 1. She plays Erika Tracy, a famous and very kinky artist who hires Cooper Hoffman’s Elliot as an assistant and then as a great deal more. It sits at 92 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, and it is the reason her name is back in every search bar.

She was born Olivia Jane Cockburn in New York City in 1984 to two journalists, grew up in Washington, D.C., and took the name Wilde from Oscar in high school. The O.C. made people notice her as Alex Kelly, the bar owner who dated both Seth and Marissa, and House made her famous as Thirteen, the bisexual doctor with a death sentence and a stare to match.

No. Nothing real has ever surfaced. What gets passed around under that name is either film footage with a new title or a fake. The real scenes, the ones she agreed to, are all on this page.
Why isn’t The Change-Up here?
She shot the scene with Ryan Reynolds wearing pasties, and when they showed, the filmmakers painted nipples on with CGI; she told Jimmy Kimmel so herself. A digitally finished body is not her body, so it stays off the list.
Why isn’t the I Want Your Sex threesome here?
Because she keeps her underwear on, and because the joke of the scene is Elliot handcuffed in the corner, asking to be let go while it happens. It is played for awkward comedy, but it isn’t a nude scene and I’m not ranking it.
What about Drinking Buddies, Cowboys & Aliens and Meadowland?
All real, all brief or hard to see. The Drinking Buddies skinny-dip is shot at night from a distance, the Cowboys & Aliens moment is a split-second by the campfire, and Meadowland is a reflection in a TV screen. None of them gives you a frame worth showing.
