What happens in these scenes

By this point Grace has come all the way apart. Ramsay stops explaining and starts showing: first a long walk down a bare corridor under white strip lights, then a night in the woods with the trees burning and Grace moving toward the flames instead of away from them. Both shots are wide, both are brief, and in both you mostly see her from a distance or from behind.

It’s nudity as the end of a road rather than the start of a romance. Lawrence said being pregnant on this shoot “took a lot of vanity anxiety away,” and these shots are the purest version of that: no angles, no flattery, just a body in a place it shouldn’t be.
