What happens in Windrider
P.C. Simpson is a rich kid who would rather be on a sailboard than in his father’s office, and Jade is a rock singer who falls into his life. It is a sunny, slightly silly Australian romance, and it was one of her first big-screen leads. Filming started in September 1985, a few months after her eighteenth birthday, and she plays a grown woman with her own career.
The first clip is the two of them in the shower, all wet curls and laughing, before it turns into sex against the tiles. The second is Jade stretched out in bed and then getting up and crossing the room. The picture quality is 1980s video; the screen presence is already fully there.
