No nudity in this one, whatever the tag clouds say. But a coven leader striding through a Dallas mall in a plunging black leather dress is its own kind of scene, and Lili Reinhart plays it like she owns the lease.
What happens in Forbidden Fruits
Reinhart plays Apple, the ringleader at Free Eden, an upscale clothing store in a Dallas mall where the staff take fruit names and run a coven in the basement after closing. Cherry (Victoria Pedretti) and Fig (Alexandra Shipp) are her lieutenants; then a new hire, Pumpkin (Lola Tung), starts wobbling the hierarchy. Meredith Alloway directed from a play by Lily Houghton, with Diablo Cody among the producers, which explains the teeth.
The clip is Apple arriving for work like it’s a coronation. Slow motion, a low camera, the mall’s skylights behind her, a black leather dress laced down the front and cut to the sternum, and then she hauls open the store’s metal security gate like a woman opening her own temple. Some sites tag this movie with nudity from her.
