What happens in episode eight
By the last episode Sophie has spent a whole season orbiting Margo, the richest, loudest and most dangerous woman in a small East Texas town, and pretending she can stop any time she likes. She can’t. They kiss in a white bedroom, the dress comes off, and the two of them end up tangled in the sheets, both topless, with Snow on her back and very much the center of attention. Afterwards they stay in bed together, which on this show counts as a long-term commitment.
Mr Skin named it the number one nude scene of 2025, ahead of Nicole Kidman in Babygirl, and I am not going to argue with a man who takes his job that seriously. What makes it work is that Snow plays it as the moment Sophie stops lying to herself, and she told Deadline that Akerman kept checking in on set: “Are you OK? Can I put my hand here?”
