This isn’t a film scene. It’s an official Sports Illustrated photoshoot, and the behind-the-scenes video SI released with it.
What happens in the SI 2017 shoot
For the 2017 Swimsuit Issue, photographer Yu Tsai shot Kate Upton in Fiji, and Sports Illustrated put her on three covers of the same issue, a first for the magazine. She said she went into it wanting to be “strong and healthy” rather than chasing a sample size.
The official video follows the shoot on the beach and the rocks: a silver swimsuit, the photographer working a few feet away, and a few implied-topless setups where a hand or a prop stays firmly in charge. It’s the closest she’s come to topless in official material, and it stays implied.
