William H. Macy directed a road-trip comedy about two best friends fighting over one firefighter, and a good part of the fighting happens at the pool.
What happens at the pool
Kate Upton plays Meg, a struggling cosmetics saleswoman who talks her best friend and roommate Kate (Alexandra Daddario) into a vacation to Fort Lauderdale. On the plane they both fall for Ryan (Matt Barr), a firefighter on his way to a wedding. Then a hurricane warning diverts the flight to St. Louis, and the two friends are stuck in St. Louis with the same target.
A lot of the competing happens at the pool: Meg in a mint swimsuit and a sun hat, lounging poolside, then in the hot tub. It’s swimwear and slapstick, with no nudity.
