What happens in episode four
Sophie moved to Texas for a quiet life with her husband, and Margo has been dismantling that plan one glass of wine at a time. Here it finally tips over. Margo kisses her, Sophie kisses back, and the two of them land on a bed with blue sheets. Sophie goes down on Margo first; then Margo pushes Sophie’s top up and takes over, and Snow gets the close-ups, topless, face and all.
It is longer than the finale and a little less polished, which is the point: it is the first time, and both women play it like the first time. Snow has said Akerman even offered to put her own body in the shot “so you don’t have to show this part of yourself.” She didn’t need to. It works.
