Jessica Alba in Sin City: Nancy Callahan Dance

Celebrity Nudes, Jessica Alba

Not a full-nude scene. Jessica Alba is Nancy Callahan in Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller’s Sin City (2005): the stage dance at Kadie’s, studded bra, leather chaps, lasso overhead, neon “COLD BEER” behind her. She was about twenty-three or twenty-four. Official theatrical release.

High-contrast noir lighting, crowd silhouettes in front of the stage, the whole room watching Nancy. Dance and lingerie. Label it honestly.

What happens in the scene

Nancy works the stage. Lasso up, hips in the chaps, studs catching the light. The bar watches. Miller’s black-and-white world with a splash of color on her.

We are not calling this a nude scene. Bra, chaps, performance. Still one of the most iconic Jessica Alba images in film.

The rest of her scenes are on the Jessica Alba hub: The Killer Inside Me, Machete, Good Luck Chuck, Sin City.
