Robert Rodriguez’s Machete (2010). Jessica Alba plays April, and the shower is the scene everyone remembers. She was about twenty-nine. Official theatrical release. Full nude under the tiled spray, wet hair, arms braced on the wall.
It is pure Rodriguez: dark tiles, toiletries on a wire caddy, a little daylight from the blinds outside the stall. No other-site logos on these stills. Just the film.
What happens in the scene
April in the shower. Water on skin, dark square tiles, the showerhead above, bottles on the caddy. The camera finds her in profile and from above. It is a nude scene in a grindhouse action picture, shot and released as part of the movie.
No body-double disclaimer on the frames we have. Face, body, same woman. That is why it sits near the top of any honest Jessica Alba nude list.
The rest of her scenes are on the Jessica Alba hub: The Killer Inside Me, Machete, Good Luck Chuck, Sin City.
