I just received news that that singer known for many scandals,Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London apartment this morning. Well, it was only a matter of time, but still, it is very sad. The 27 year old’s body was discovered just after 4pm today by emergency services who say the cause of death is “unexplained”. She was already dead when two ambulances arrived. Forensic teams are en route to investigate. Just last week she appeared on stage with her god daughter Dionne Bromfield. Amy’s tour was recently cancelled after a slurring performance in Serbia. Amy’s drug habit was as well-known as her music career. Her first album won 5 Grammy awards – the irony is her biggest hit was called “Rehab”. I hope she is not mourned as some torchered soul, or some sort of a hero. She lived life burning the candle at both ends and many people tried to help her, but she was beyond help….
